BTS’s Jimin has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering the best possible performance for fans, emphasizing his unwavering dedication to the group's long-awaited full-member reunion.
On January 30, the K-pop industry reported that Jimin shared his thoughts with fans through the Weverse platform, stating, "It has been quite a while since we last performed together, and it's been some time since we were fully dedicated to the stage and music, so I do feel a bit nervous. But my determination to present the best stage for all of you who have waited remains unchanged."
He added, "I will prepare diligently. I will work hard and return in my best form."
Jimin enlisted in the military alongside fellow BTS member Jungkook in December 2023, and both are currently serving as active-duty soldiers in the South Korean army. Their expected discharge date is in June 2025.
Reflecting on his military service, Jimin shared, "I enlisted in December two years ago, and now two new years have already passed. It has been about a year and two months since I started my military service, and time seems to flow differently here. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve been learning and growing, so I look forward to the day when I can share these experiences with all of you."
He also revealed that his conversations with Jungkook have changed significantly since the new year began. "Since the year changed, Jungkook and I have had many deep conversations before going to bed. As the day we reunite with ARMY gets closer, we’ve been discussing what we need to prepare before that moment, what kind of performances we want to show, and even what kind of lives we will lead moving forward," he said.
Despite his military service, Jimin has continued to make an impact in the music industry. His second solo album, MUSE, and its title track Who have remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 26 consecutive weeks, demonstrating his ongoing global influence.
